Then check out the Google Ads on the right side of the page.

Here's what I got for "Wendell":

"Wendell for Sale"

"Search for Wendell now"

"Do You Like Your Name?"

I was a bit curious about that last one. I tried typing in other names like "Mike" and "John" and they don't get the "Do You Like Your Name" ad. Even off-the-wall names like "Erasmus," "Euripides," "Magnus," and "Dweezil" don't get the ad. C'mon! Dweezil? You can't tell me that guy likes his name!

Oh, but "Wendell," "Myrtle," "Gertrude," and "Myron" all get the "Do You Like Your Name" ad.

So what are they implying??

Some more name tests:

"Dorkus" - Meet Sexy Local Singles.

"Sissy" - Increase Breast Size and Crossdressers Community ads.

"Rebecca" - Meet Sexy Single Rebecca.

"David" - Earn Income Online. I guess "David" is a name for poor people?

"Walter" - Women's Bottoms. Hmm.

I know a lot of research goes into marketing demographics but advertisements based on just your name? Man, that's frightening...
